Video Marketing For Your Colorado Business
Video is everywhere! It is becoming increasingly more difficult to find a site that does not have video included in some way or another. So my question to you is, “Have you ever considered having video on your website?” If done right, your visitors will not only appreciate your video(s) but you will also gain some SEO benefits as well. If you look at some of the most successful internet marketers today you will see that they all use video in their marketing.
People love video and your visitors are no different. There are many benefits that your visitors will reap when you have video on your site. One benefit is that you give them information that is easy to digest and doesn’t require them to read everything on your website. Video creates trust because your visitors can see you. Even though you are not truly interacting they feel as though they know you better.
Many business owners balk at the topic of video because they believe that it is difficult to produce and very expensive. Both of those can be true, however, they can also be just the opposite. It all depends upon what you want to portray and how you wish to portray it. The hardest part of creating a good video is the time it takes to craft the message. If you are selling a product then there are questions that need to be answered such as:
- What problem are you solving?
- What benefits are you delivering?
- What features are included?
- What kind of value is going to be perceived?
- Is there a guarantee?
- Do you have testimonials?
If it is more informational then you will want to decide what information you wish to include and decide if you will tape a “live” type of video or make an online presentation type of video. Whichever route you take be sure to think it through or hire a professional that can help you shoot it and give you suggestions.
There is a lot of SEO value in producing videos as well. Once your videos are produced you will want to put them on as many video sites as you can. On the majority of these sites you will be able to include a link which will send the viewer back to your site. You will also be able to give a description of the video which should include valuable keywords that you want to rank for. The intro and end of your video should include either some kind of call to action or at the very least, a screen that gives them your website URL and contact information.
There are well over 60 video sites where you could upload your video to. Below are a few that I like.
YouTube.com
Revver.com
Viddler.com
Vimeo.com
If you are considering an online marketing campaign then I recommend putting video into your mix. You won’t be sorry.
